On virtually every weekend, Lake Amistad hosts a fishing tournament ranging from 5 boat club events to national bass trails.  The size of the lake and the quality of the bass population attracts anglers from around the country as they take on the challenge of Lake Amistad with the hopes of catching double digit fish and proving their metal against other competitors.
